Estrima BIRO - Lithium Battery Warranty Terms

WARRANTY TERMS
Estrima lithium batteries are covered by a warranty for material and/
or manufacturing defects for a period of 24 months or 1000 recharge
cycles, depending on the rst to occur. Upon exclusive discretion of the
Seller, the warranty provides for the repair or replacement of the battery
pack on condition that all the requirements illustrated in the Instruction
Manual for Operation and Maintenance and in this technical manual
supplied with the vehicle and/or the batteries are complied with, other-
wise the warranty becomes null and void.
Warranty exclusions
The warranty will be due only in case of defects or production’s non-
compliance of the product, and only when the product has been used
under the terms established by the present guide.
All direct or indirect expenses due to the substitution of the battery are
excluded from warranty (ex.: technical assistance).
Warranty application
Follow these guidelines:
1. in case of defects or non-compliance of the product, tell them to the
dealer or to the Company no later than eight days after the date of
notication;
2. carry the vehicle with detective battery or non-compliant one to the
nearest service-centre. The transport must occur at your expense,
as agreed with the international rule on street-transport of dange-
rous goods ADR.
NOTE: for possible return of the goods or interventions excluded from
warranty, contact directly your dealer.
End of the warranty
The warranty ends immediately in case of modications and/or non-
authorized repairs of the battery, or when the defect or non-compliance
is told to the dealer more than 8 days after the receipt of the goods, or
from the date of notication of the defect or the non-conformity.
