CHECKING LEVELS
To get to check levels, rst of all remove the object-carrier compartment
of the front bonnet.
Level of the brake liquid
The level of the brake liquid must be checked
in conformity with the Estrima periodic
maintenance table and, anyhow, every time that
you notice a minimum variation in the efciency
of the braking system/ plant.
It is normal for the level to drop as gradually as
the pads wear out.
In all cases, it must always remain included
between the MIN and MAX notches of the tank.
Before any liquid addition, check the state of
wear of brake pads and verify that there are no
leaks from the circuit.
The recommended brake liquid is DOT 4 (the
package must unfailingly be sealed).
To ll up the circuit, use oils having the same
features. Never use DOT 5 oils.
We suggest to have the work on the hydraulic
circuit carried out by a specialised technician.
