Before starting maintenance
• Remove the mains lead or turn off the power supply.
Warning!
• Do not spray or rinse the dryer with water. Risk of short circuit!
General
Cleaning the housing and drum
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the housing and the drum.
• Do not rinse with water.
• Do not use an abrasive pad / abrasive.
• Do not clean with alcohol.
Leave the door open for ventilation after cleaning.
Cleaning the fluff lint filter
1. Unlock the filter: the fluff lint filter is located in the door opening.
Lift the filter up and open the filter.
2. Clean the filter: wipe the filter clean with a cloth or by hand.
3. Replace the filter. If you have cleaned the filter with a damp cloth
or in water, you must first leave the filter to dry in the sun before
replacing it.
Note:
• Clean the fluff lint filter each time you use the appliance to avoid
extended drying times and unnecessary energy consumption. The
accumulated dust blocks the air circulation.
• Do not use the tumble dryer without the fluff lint filter!
