Problem Cause Solution
The tuble dryer does not heat
up.
- Thermal failure. - Reset appliance with the
reset button on the back
(at the top right) of the
appliance.
The tumble dryer will not
start.
- Power failure.
- The plug is not properly
plugged in at the socket.
- Drum too full.
- The temperature fuse has
blown.
- Wait until the power is
switched on again.
- Check that the plug is
properly plugged in at the
socket
- Laundry first needs to be
spun, the maximum drum
load is 6 kg.
- Call Customer Service.
The tumble dryer housing
is hot or you can detect
a burning smell.
- The fluff lint filter is full.
- The vents (air inlet and
outlet) are dirty.
- Regularly clean the fluff lint
filter.
- Clean the vents.
Laundry too dry. - Laundry not removed after
completion of the program.
- Laundry not sorted
correctly.
- Excessively high
temperature selected.
- Remove laundry
immediately following
completion of the drying
program.

- Follow the instructions
on the care label of the
clothing.
Laundry shrinks. - Too dry. - Follow the instructions
on the care label of the
clothing. Remove delicates
from the drum when iron
dry, and then hang out
to dry.
Fluff on the laundry. - In the case of synthetic
fabrics fluff is produced as a
result of friction.
- Turn garments inside out to
prevent friction.
