Prerequisites for installation
Your Audi Wallbox pro
comes equipped with a kWh
meter. The 1-phase version
is compatible with 1-phase
and 3-phase kWh meters
but the 3-phase version only
with 3-phase kWh meters,
as shown in the following
table.

Choose location
› Position the wallbox, where possible, in
surroundings where it is not exposed to
direct sunlight and vulnerable to external
damage. Direct sunlight can cause an in-
crease in wallbox temperature, which may
impact charging performance.
› The wall must have a at structure and
must be able to hold a load of at least 100
kg.
› The minimum free space around the wall-
box must be a minimum of 300 mm.
› Consider the position of the charging port
of the vehicle when choosing the installa-
tion location of the wallbox.
