2. Remove both
harness straps from
the splitter plate
and pull them
through to the
front of the seat.
Converting into a Booster Seat
1. Loosen harness .
Actuate the harness
release lever while pulling
outward on the harness
straps, as shown.
Note: Disconnect chest
clip and unbuckle harness
(see page 28).
3. Disconnect J-clips
and retaining
strips, then remove
the seat pad
(see page 53).
Converting into a Booster Seat
5. Push the chest clip
and buckle tongues
through the upper
belt path to the
back of the child
restraint.

behind the child
restraint, as shown in
illustrations,

harness
straps through
adjustment slots,
then attach to
splitter plate
on back of child
restraint.
