Why is my Everbilt Water Pump running but not pumping water effectively?
    • K
      kmunozAug 8, 2025
If your Everbilt Water Pump motor runs but the water flow is lower than expected, start by checking for blockages in the intake screen or impeller and clean them. Also, check for an airlock and clean the airlock release feature, or loosen the hose to release the air. Ensure the discharge hose isn't kinked, sharply bent, or coiled; straighten it if needed. Make sure the discharge hose/pipe isn't higher than 38 ft. Confirm you're using at least a 3/4 inch diameter hose shorter than 50 ft. If using an extension cord, try a shorter, heavier gauge one or plug the pump directly into the power source. Finally, make sure that the sensor is not blocked by debris. If the impeller is broken, call 1-844-883-1872 for a replacement.

What to do if my Everbilt HDPCP25 Water Pump motor does not run or is humming?
    • M
      Marc GarciaAug 25, 2025
If your Everbilt Water Pump isn't running or is just humming, first ensure the water level is at least 1-1/4 inches high to activate the switch. Then, inspect the impeller area for any debris and remove it, ensuring the impeller rotates freely. Check the outlet for power, and if there's no power, inspect your home's fuse or circuit breaker panel. Also, make sure the pump's plug is making good contact in the outlet and reset the GFCI outlet if necessary. If the pump has overheated, unplug it and wait 30 minutes before plugging it back in. Avoid operating the pump if the liquid temperature is below 32°F or above 95°F. If all these steps check out and the pump still doesn't work, the motor may have failed, and you might need to replace the pump.
