Why Everbilt EFLS15CI-HD Water Pump does not deliver water to full capacity?
    • J
      James ThomasAug 2, 2025
If your Everbilt Water Pump isn't delivering water to its full capacity, it could be due to several reasons: * If your well's water level is lower than estimated, a deep well jet may be needed if the depth to water is more than 25 ft. (7.6M). * Corroded or limed steel piping can cause excess friction; replace it with plastic pipe where possible, or with new steel pipe. * Ensure you are using larger piping. * You might need to add additional well points if the pump isn't being supplied with enough water.

      Renee KellyAug 7, 2025
If your Everbilt Water Pump is leaking around the clamp, stop the pump and tighten the clamp nut 1-2 turns. Alternately tighten and tap on the clamp with a mallet to seat the O-ring. Be careful not to overtighten.

Why does my Everbilt Water Pump motor run hot and overload kicks off or the motor does not run and only hums?
    • M
      Mrs. Lisa WilliamsAug 26, 2025
If your Everbilt Water Pump motor runs hot and the overload kicks off, or if it only hums and doesn't run, it could be due to incorrect wiring. Refer to the wiring instructions to ensure it is correctly wired. Also, low voltage could be the cause. Check with the power company and consider installing heavier wiring if the wire size is too small, referring to the chart in the wiring section.

What to do if Everbilt Water Pump motor runs but no water is delivered?
    • G
      gonzalezkathleenNov 18, 2025
If the Everbilt Water Pump motor runs, but no water is delivered, consider the following: * Re-prime the pump according to the instructions. * Check all connections on the suction line, shaft seal, and AVC for air leaks using shaving cream. * Replace the foot valve or check valve if they are leaking or stuck shut. * Ensure the pipe size matches the suction and discharge ports on the pump. * Lower the suction line into the water and re-prime if the water level is below the suction pipe inlet. Note that if the receding water level in the well exceeds 25 ft. (7.6M), a deep well pump is needed. * Clean the impeller if it's plugged. * Thaw pipes if they are frozen, and consider burying them below the frost line or heating the pit or pump house. * Raise the foot valve and/or str...
