4- 3d UPDATING THE FIRMWARE (unde r Windo ws)
Updating the rmware is a simple operation but one which, if not properly completed, can result in your printer breaking down.

upgrade. In general, such updates are only required in the event of problem or malfunction that has been clearly identied by your Evolis
d e a le r.

Go to the Sup po rt & Drive rs m e nu, the n se le c t yo ur p rinte r m o d e l a nd c lic k o n the Print drive rs a nd Firmwa re link.

Then click on the le for the corresponding Firmware.

Accept the download then save the le in a directory on your hard drive. The rmware is stored compressed as a zip
le, which you will need to extract.

Then double-click on the le in the directory in order to run the rmware installation program.

Whe n re q ue ste d b y the p ro g ra m, fo llo w the instruc tio ns in o rd e r to se le c t the p rinte r a nd sta rt the o p e ra tio n. The
rmware download is in progress.

After about thirty seconds, the rmware has transferred to the printer and the operation is complete.

If the printer is not showing a ‘READY’ status, this means that the update has not been carried out correctly or, possibly,
tha t the p rinte r is no t wo rking p ro p e rly. C he c k the c o nne c tio n c a b le s a nd run a ne w up d a te .

The update of the rmware can be carried out from the Evolis Print Center.
