1.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostop,and
removekey.Engageparkingbrake.
2.Raisetherearofmachineupandsupportwith
jackstands(orequivalentsupport)justhigh
enoughtoallowdrivewheelstoturnfreely.
CAUTION
Raisingthemowerdeckforserviceor
maintenancerelyingsolelyonmechanical
orhydraulicjackscouldbedangerous.The
mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmaynotbe
enoughsupportormaymalfunctionallowing
theunittofall,whichcouldcauseinjury.
DoNotrelysolelyonmechanicalorhydraulic
jacksforsupport.Useadequatejackstands
orequivalentsupport.
3.Removethepumpdrivebelt.
4.Placeacatchpanunderthehydro.
5.Carefullycleanareaaroundthelters.Itis
importantthatnodirtorcontaminationenterthe
hydraulicsystem.
6.Usingasocket,unscrewlterstoremoveand
allowoiltodrain.
7.Beforeinstallingthenewlters,applyathincoat
ofExmarkPremiumHydroOilonthesurface
ofthetworubberseals.
8.Installthenewltersandtorqueto14ft-lb(19
N-m).
9.FillthehydraulicsystemasstatedinCheck
HydraulicOilLevelsection.
ExmarkPremiumHydroOilisrecommended.

10.Removethecatchpanandproperlydisposeof
hydrooilandlteraccordingtolocalcodes.
11.Re-installthepumpdrivebelt.
12.Startengineandmovethrottlecontrolaheadto
fullthrottleposition.Movethespeedcontrol
leverstothefullspeedandrunforoneminute.
Shutdownthemachine,allowthehydrostocool
andrecheckoillevel.
13.Removethejackstands.
Note:DoNotchangethehydraulicsystemoil
(exceptforwhatcanbedrainedwhenchanginglter),
unlessitisfelttheoilhasbeencontaminatedorbeen
extremelyhot.
Changingoilunnecessarilycoulddamagehydraulic
systembyintroducingcontaminantsintothesystem.
