LocatedbelowtheREDEquippedLDUontheRH
console(seeFigure8).
Switchmustbe“ON”(pulledup)toengagethe
blades.Switchis“OFF”(pusheddown)todisengage
theblades.
TheLCDindicatorwillappearontheinformation
screenoftheREDEquippedLDUwhenthePTO
switchisdisengaged.
Note:TheREDEquippedModelshaveaclutch
saver,whichallowsthethrottletoautomatically
reduceengineRPMwhenthePTOswitchis
disengaged.EngaginganddisengagingthePTO
switch,changestheenginethrottlebetweenmowand
transportmode.
Note:ThestarterwillcrankwiththePTOswitchin
the“ON”(pulledup)position;however,thesystem
willdisengagethePTOandaPTOreseterrorwill
occur.EngagingthePTOwillrequiretheoperatorto
resetthePTOswitchbyturningit“OFF”(pushed
down)andthenturningit“ON”.
Important:OnWingDeckModel:Thewings
mustbeunfoldedbeforethePTOcanbe
engaged.

Alowvoltagecondition(lessthan12.3volts)exists
whentheLCDindicatorappearsonthemessage
displaywhiletheengineisrunning.
Iftheignitionkeyisturnedtothe“ON”positionfor
afewsecondsbeforecrankingtheengine,thebattery
voltagewilldisplayintheareawherethehoursare
normallydisplayed.

engineisoffandthekeyswitchisturnedtothe
“ON”position.

Pushthepedalforwardwithyourfoottoraisethe
cuttingdeck.Allowthepedaltomoverearwardto
lowerthecuttingdecktothecutheightthathasbeen
set.

Pushthetopofbuttontoraisethecenterdeckand
folduptheouterwings.
Pushthebottomofbuttontolowerthecenterdeck
andouterwings.
TransportLock
Locatedontheheightofcutadjustmentplatestothe
rightoftheparkingbrake.
Positioninthetransportlatchingpositionto
automaticallylatchthecuttingdeckwhenraisedto
thetransportposition(seeitem1inFigure14).
Inthenon-latchingposition,thedeckwill
automaticallyreturntothecuttingheightwhenthe
pedalislowered(seeitem3inFigure14).
