Toturnleft,releasepressureontheLHmotion
controlleverandtherearofthemachinewill
movetowardstherearandtotheleft.
3.Tostop,positionbothmotioncontrolleversin
theneutraloperateposition.
AdjustingtheCuttingHeight–
AllModelsExceptWingDecks
Thecuttingheightofthemowerdeckisadjusted
from1to51/2inches(2.5cmto14cm)in1/4inch
(6.4mm)increments.
1.Stopthemachineandmovethemotioncontrol
leversoutwardtotheneutrallockedposition.
2.DisengagethePTO.
3.Positionthetransportlockinthelatching
position.
4.Raiseandlockthedecktothe51/2inch(14cm)
transportposition(Figure23).
Thedeckisraisedbypushingthefootoperated
deckliftpedalforward.Thepedalislocatedatthe
frontrightcorneroftheoorpan.
Note:Whenchangingthecuttingheight
positions,alwayscometoacompletestop
anddisengagethePTO.

1.Positionthemoweronaatsurface.
2.DisengagethePTO.
3.Pressthetopofdeckliftswitch,onthepanel
control,toraisethecenterdeckandtheouter
wings.
4.Stopengine,waitforallmovingpartstostopand
engagetheparkingbrake.
5.Adjustthecenterdeck:
A.Removetheheightadjustmentpinfromthe
deckliftplateontherightsideofthecenter
deck.
B.Inserttheheightadjustmentpinintothehole
correspondingtothedesiredcuttingheight.
Seethedecalonthesideofthedeckliftplate
forcutheights.
6.Adjustthesidewingdecks:
A.Makesuretheengineisoff,thekeyhasbeen
removed,andthedeckwingsarelockedin
place.
B.Unlockthecamlockslocatedontheheightof
cutchannelonthewingdeck(seeFigure24).
