DrivingForwardorBackward
Thethrottlecontrolregulatestheenginespeedas
measuredinrpm(revolutionsperminute).Place
thethrottlecontrolintheFastpositionforbest
performance.AlwaysoperateintheFast(fullthrottle)
position.
Thismachinehasthecharacteristicsofbothagarden
tractorandazero-turnmachine.Likeagarden
tractor,themachinehasafootpedalthatcontrolsthe
forwardandreversemotionalongwiththespeed,
andithasasteeringwheelthatcontrolsthedirection
andtheturningradius.Likeazero-turnmachine,
thereardrivewheelsoperateindependentlyofeach
other,enablingyoutomakesharpturnsandtoturn
indifferentdirectionsquickly.Thesecharacteristics
vastlyimprovethemaneuverabilityofthemachine,
buttheymayalsorequireyoutopracticedrivingif
youareunfamiliarwiththistypeofmachine.

1.Movethethrottletothe“FAST”position.
2.Placeyourfootontothetraction-controlpedal
andslowlypressthetopofthepedaltogo
forward,orpressonthebottomofthepedalto
movebackward(Figure12).
