1.Removetheblowerhousingandanyothercooling
shrouds.
2.Cleanthecoolingnsandexternalsurfacesas
necessary.
3.Makesurethecoolingshroudsarereinstalled
Important:Operatingtheenginewithablocked
grassscreen,dirtyorpluggedcoolingns,
and/orcoolingshroudsremoved,willcause
enginedamageduetooverheating.

ReplacingtheFuelFilter
ServiceInterval:Every100hours/Yearly
(whichevercomesrst)
DANGER
Incertainconditions,gasolineisextremely
ammableandhighlyexplosive.Areor
explosionfromgasolinecanburnyouandothers
andcandamageproperty.
•Performanyfuelrelatedmaintenancewhen
theengineiscold.Dothisoutdoorsinan
openarea.Wipeupanygasolinethatspills.
•Neversmokewhendraininggasoline,and
stayawayfromanopenameorwherea
sparkmayignitethegasolinefumes.
Neverinstalladirtylterifitisremovedfromthe
fuelline.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurfaceanddisengage
thebladecontrolswitch.
2.Ensuretheparkingbrakeisengaged,stopthe
engine,removethekey,andwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforeleavingtheoperatingposition.
3.Thefuellterisinthefuellinebetweenthetank
andengine.
4.Squeezetheendsofthehoseclampstogetherand
slidethemawayfromthelter.

engine.Movethehoseclampsclosetothelter
