EXTRA 500 Limitations
2.3 Airspeed Indicator Markings
Airspeed indicator markings and their color code are marked on
the relevant instrument. See Figure 2-2 below.

White Arc 58 thru 109
(61 thru 111 KCAS)
Full flaps operating range. Lower
limit is maximum mass stalling
speed in landing configuration.
Upper limit is maximum speed
permissible with flaps (30°)
extended.
Green Arc 80 thru 188
(79 thru 190 KCAS)
Normal operating range. Lower
limit is maximum mass stalling
speed with flaps and landing gear
retracted. Upper limit is
maximum structural Cruising
speed.
Yellow Arc 188 thru 207
(190 thru 209 KCAS)
Operations must be conducted
with caution and only in smooth
air.
Red Line 207
(209 KCAS)
Maximum speed for all
operations.
