9. OPERATING MODES
The stove is factory-set to receive a number of external supplementary thermostats that make it
possible to adapt and regulate operation in relation to the system needs.
In support of this function, the stove has three operating modes strictly tied to the use of external
thermostats, where used. This means that the selection of one mode over another without the use
of supplementary devices does not modify the stove in any way.
The external thermostats have to be connected to the terminal board located on the back of the
stove.
The installer must verify that supplementary device applied to the stove is suitably earthed; if
necessary, provide for an additional earth. Pay particular attention that the cables are not in
contact with heated parts.
On the back wall of the tank, just above the terminal board, there are four holes for attaching the
cable terminals that you will find in the bag of accessories.
The table below shows some examples of possible connections for external thermostats.
ING1 input connection between terminals ING1 and COM of the terminal board
ING2 input connection between terminals ING2 and COM of the terminal board
ING1 has priority over ING2
OUT3 and OUT4 are outputs of the supplementary board controlled by the status of input ING1.
The status of the outputs indicated in the table below are to be considered valid only when the
pump is working.
N.B.: Stove shutdown always has a delay of 15 minutes.
