3.12 Remove/Replace Ribbon Sensor (D930016)
Caution: Turn OFF the Printer and unplug the power cord from the
Printer.
Remove the stepper motor assembly first.
Remove the Platen Roller Gears to access the Ribbon Sensor.
Remove the retaining ring and pull off the gear.
Tools needed: T10 Torx screwdriver
Estimated Repair Time: 30 min
Preparation: Remove the Covers
Important: This procedure can only be performed by
authorized service personnel.
