By operating the corresponding levers:
- o pen the o u ter bo om of the jib;
- ex tend the jib o u ter bo om sli ding sec tions;
- po si tion the ho ok on the cen ter li ne of the lo ad.

By operating the corresponding levers:
- re-en ter the hy dra u lic sec tions of the jib and of the cra ne;
- lift the in ner bo om to its stro ke end;
- re-en ter the o u ter bo om of the jib and of the cra ne to its stro ke end;
- o pe ra te, as de scri bed, to fold the cra ne in rest po si tion.
(!) ATTENTION (!)
Always check and record the overall height of the crane in the folded
position or in laid position in the body or on the load.
Always respect and pay proper attention that the load and dimension
limits are in conformity with the road regulations.
20.6 O pe ra tions to re mo ve the hy dra u lic jib from the cra ne
By operating the corresponding levers:
- re-en ter the jib o u ter bo oms sli ding sec tions to their stroke end;
- ex tend the cra ne o u ter ram to its stro ke end;
- ex tend (of at le ast 1 - 1,5 m) the cra ne o u ter bo oms sli ding sec tions;
- re-en ter the o u ter ram of the jib and the in ner ram of the cra ne to ob ta in
the two rest brac kets of the jib, e i ther lay on the gro und, or on the truck
bo dy or, if pos si ble, on a spe ci fic rest tre stle;
- re mo ve screwing the loc king pins;
- re-en ter the o u ter bo oms sli ding sec tions of the cra ne to free the fir st
boom of the cra ne jib;
- di scon nect the jib from the hy dra u lic cir cuit of the cra ne o pe ra ting on the
quick co u plin gs.
- disconnect the electric cable of the pressure transducer and put on the
specific cap.

As su re that the hy dra u lic jib is a de qua te ly strip ped to a vo id si de turno ver.
20.7 O pe ra tions to mount the hy dra u lic jib on the cra ne
By operating the corresponding levers:
- place the extension on the vehicle or on the ground in the direction of the
movement of the extension booms;
- ex tend the cra ne o u ter ram to its stro ke end and position the extension
booms of the crane not too close to the first boom of the jib in order to allow
the lining-up manoeuvres and the connection of the hoses;
- connect the jib hoses to the hydraulic plant through coupling unions, following
indications of Paragraph 17.2, Hydraulic connections for implements - supple-
mentary hoses;
- disconnect the cap and connect the electric cable for the pressure transducer;
- reset the FX system which now shows Alarm # 6 by pressing the LMI button. If the correct
connection has been made then the normal screen should appear with no Alarm.
- operate the outer ram of the jib and the inner ram of the crane in order to align
the extension booms of the crane and the first boom of the jib thus allowing their
connection;
- eventually repeat the previous operation until the fixing holes are aligned,
working on the extension booms of the crane;
- insert the lock pin into the fixing holes and secure it with the check pin.
