THUMBNAILS FOR RESIDENTIAL AREAS. GENERAL ENTRANCES.
The Thumbnails below are for residential areas and combinations with any MDS system: MDS DIGITAL,
MDS CITY or MDS DIRECT. These Thumbnails represent the General Entrances.
General Entrances with MDS DIGITAL
To make installation diagrams for general entrances.
MDS DIGITAL combined with MDS DIGITAL
To make installation diagrams for general entrances in residential areas where the interior blocks are also
MDS DIGITAL.
The followingThumbnails represent the Central Unit asigned as General Entrance of an MDS DIGITAL
system with an installation in series, i. e. the central unit is connected via FXL to another central unit of an
inner block. The Decoder BUS can be utilised for relay/sensor decoders, or AUDIO decoders for common
areas (if there are any).
They will be combined with the necessary INTERIOR BLOCKS and PANELS Thumbnails.

In cases in which it is necessary to form a residential area with a "star configuration", i.e. the central unit we
assign as general entrance and its panels are situated in the centre of the area with the blocks around it,
we can split the FXL network into as many branches as required (using a connector strip, for example, in
audio installations).
In video installations, as well as the audio connector strip, we shall need video distributors to split the video
signal, as shown in the following Thumbnails:
