9 Failures
9.1 Prevention of possible failures
Always keep your lift clean to enable proper and safe work.
Follow the maintenance instructions.
Protect the electrical control cabinet and the power unit of the lift from moisture.
Do not clean the lift with pressure or steam.
Keep electrical control cabinet of lift closed.
Do not apply corrosive substances to the lift.
Do not perform welding on the lift or handle welding torches in its vicinity.
9.2 Behaviour during failures
Failures of the lift can be causes by simple errors. Inspect the lift according to the instructions listed
below. If the error cannot be removed after checking the specific causes, please contact the responsi-
ble customer service.
DANGER
Danger to live by working with a defective lift.
Shut down the lift and secure the main switch with a padlock until competent
repairs have been carried out.
The lift may only be returned into operation if it is in perfectly safe condition.
