System Maintenance
Step 2: Apply pressure from beneath the sensing element compartment door to pop
open the latch, as shown in Figure 8-2.

Step 3: Pull the door out horizontally, parallel to the Fido X4, as shown in Figure 8-4, until
it is fully extended in that direction.

Caution: Do not continue to the next step without fully extending the door in
a horizontal direction as shown in Figure 8-4, or you may break the sensing ele-
ment.
Breaking a sensing element will create sharp edges and glass shards that can
cut or puncture skin.
