7. Remove the end cap from the tie rods. Note that
compression of the o-ring on the check valve body
will hold the check valve assembly inside the end
cap.
8. Remove the check valve assembly from the end cap
by pushing on the outlet adapter (see illustration at
right). Set the end cap aside.
9. In a soft-jawed vise, clamp the check valve assembly
on the flats machined into the body.
