-WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

●Do not try to light any appliance.

●Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.

●Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbour’s phone. Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.

●If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

-Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas supplier.

Why is there no flame in my FLOWMAX Technologies Water Heater?

  If there is no flame in your FLOWMAX Technologies Water Heater, it could be due to several reasons: there's no gas, so check the mains supply. The ignition electrode might be broken or grounded, the gas valve could be malfunctioning, or the ionization electrode is malfunctioning or the ionization electrode cable is disconnected, in which case replacement or connection of the part or wire is needed. The mechanical minimum adjustment on the gas valve or slow ignition adjustment might be set too low, requiring regulation. For propane water heaters, the gas valve inlet pressure might be too high, so check the maximum pressure setting. The power supply live and neutral wires could be inverted, requiring correct connection.

  If the safety thermostat or air pressure switch tripped in your FLOWMAX Technologies Water Heater, the thermostat may be malfunctioning or out of calibration, the thermostat cable might be disconnected, or the switch is out of order, in which case replacement of the part is needed, or wiring should be checked. The inlet or outlet flue gas ducts may be obstructed, so check the flue gas ducts. The switch cable might not be stable, so check the cable.
