Earth Resistance (1653B and 1654B Only)
To verify the UUT accuracy for measuring earth resistance, complete the following tests:
1. Turn the UUT to the R
E
Earth function.
2. Connect the UUT to the 5320A LO Ω Output terminals as shown in Figure 10.
3. On the 5320A, press the  function.
4. Press the 5320A MODE softkey and then select “Resistance 4-Wire” using the cursor
keys and Select softkey.
5. Using the 5320A numeric keypad, enter the resistance values in Table 9.
6. Put the 5320A in .
7. Press the UUT  and compare the reading to the display limits in Table 9.
