Preparing the Installation Position of the Sensor
Preparing the installation position of the sensor:
1. Choose the installation position. See Product Description, page 12.
2. If the installation position is prepared with peel-ply: No grinding and cleaning
necessary.
a) Remove the peel-ply.
b) Continue with step 7..
3. Preparing the installation position with the angle grinder:
a) Grind a surface of min. 260 x 70 mm with a grinding disk (grit 80). fos4X
recommends: Grind for 2 minutes.
b) Ensure that the surface is even.
4. Clean the area around the installation position of the sensor with a dry, lint-free
cleaning cloth and isopropanol.
5. Wait 3 minutes for the isopropanol to evaporate completely.
6. Wipe the installation position with a dry, lint-free cleaning cloth.
7. Mark the installation position.
