18 INTRODUCTION
18.1 Copyright terms
This document has been written for authorized and qualified personnel. This is the product specified in the title and this
product must be installed and used in strict accordance with the contents of this document. The manufacturer assumes
no responsibility for any changes made to the product by the user. Therefore, before doing anything with the product,
make sure it exactly matches all the relevant information and specifications contained in this document. Failure to
comply with the rules and specifications in this manual will result in the immediate invalidity of the guarantee. It is in the

18.2 General instructions

The manual is intended for the end user only for operations that can be performed with closed panels. Operations
requiring the opening of doors or panels with tools must be performed only by expert personnel. Each machine must be
connected to the power supply and protected by a differential switch. Near the unit there must be an Electrical Isolation
device that allows the operator to intervene in safety conditions. This device must always be used to eliminate hazards
during maintenance (electric shocks, burns, automatic restart, moving parts and remote control). To identify the machine
(model and serial number), in the event of a request for assistance or spare parts, read the identification plate located
outside the unit.
18.3 Reference standards
The machine described in this manual has been designed in accordance with the relevant EC standards.
The machine meets the essential requirements of the following European Directives:
• Electrical safety for low voltage applications 2014/35/UE,
• Electromagnetic compatibility 2014/30/UE,
• Pressure devices 2014/68/EU.
18.4 General safety rules
The purpose of the manual and all the documentation supplied with the system is to enable both the installer and
the operator to correctly install, start up and maintain the machine, without causing damage. to the staff and to the
unit.
Every FRAL machine is subject to a risk assessment carried out in compliance with the current legislation that defines
the necessary actions and implements the protective measures necessary to achieve the risk reduction objectives.
It is advisable to perform all the activities related to the operation and maintenance of the machine:
• Only by appropriately trained persons who must adopt safe working practices and use PPE appropriate to the
specific task performed, based on their specific qualification.
• Only by appropriately trained persons who have completely read and understood the manuals, technical
documents and security documents.
• Access to the machine must be denied to anyone who is not adequately trained and competent.
• Manuals, wiring diagrams and documentation attached to the machine must be read and kept for the entire life of
the appliance

spaces allowed by the adjacent structures.
