23.5 Control device of the phase sequences
Since the SCROLL compressors can function only in one rotating direction, this device controls that the phases be
correctly connected.
In case phases are not correctly connected, the machine will not start, a light will begin to flash in the relay and on the
panel the red light ALARM will be ON.
24 Inspection, transport and positioning
Warning: The machine must not be installed in narrow space, that could not allow an adequate spread of the air
coming from the outlet.
The external unit must not be installed in narrow spaces. The suction comes from the opposite side where the motor fan
is placed, while the discharge is set on the other side. The minimum distance between the discharge and a wall is 3
meters.
24.1 Inspection
Upon receipt the unit, verify the integrity. The machine left the factory in perfect shape; any damage must be
immediately disputed to the conveyor and annotated on the delivery receipt before the sign. Our company must be
informed, within 8 days, of the entity of the damages. The customer must prepare a writted declarations.
24.2 Lifting and site handling
To lift the machine from its packing, attach an integral lifting rope to the lifting plates shown in the figure.
After placing the machine on its wheels, move the machine from the side handles.
Warning: The side handles should only be used to TRANSLATE the unit.
Warning: For the LIFTING of the machine instead it is mandatory to use the appropriate eyebolts supplied as
accessory kit or with other suitable means.
