18.5 Personal protective equipment
For the operations of use and maintenance of the FD units, use the following means of personal protection:
Clothing: those who carry out maintenance or work with the unit must wear safety
shoes with non-slip soles in rooms with slippery floors.
Gloves: During cleaning and maintenance operations, the use of appropriate gloves
is required. In the case of refrigerant gas refilling, the use of appropriate gloves is
mandatory to avoid the risk of freezing.
Mask and glasses: during cleaning and maintenance operations,
respiratory protection masks and eye protection goggles must
be used.
18.6 Safety signs
Every effort has been made in designing the machine to eliminate risks. The system shows the following safety signals,
which must be respected:
General hazard
Danger of electric shock
Flammable material hazard
Danger moving part
Danger hot surface
