28 Start-up
Warning: before proceeding to start up, check that all the cover panel be located in the proper position and locked with
fastening screws.
Warning: Before the first Start-up, the machine must be kept in STAND-BY position at-least for 5 hours.
Before to proceed to start up, close electrical line main switch (not supplied with the unit): the green led (line) will be lit up.
All the units are provided with microprocessor control that manages all the various functions of the unit.
To start the unit, lower the temperature set under the environment temperature.
29 Maintenance
Warning: Machine must be installed compelling with the norms and laws regarding plants.
Warning: All the operations describes in this chapter MUST BE DONE ONLY BY TRAINED STAFF.
Warning: Within the unit are present moving components. Any operation near the machine, even when the electrical
supply is disconnect, must be carried out with extremely carefull.
Warning: the head and the discharge pipe are high temperature parts. Pay extrem carefullness during works in their
proximity.
Warning: The alluminum fins are extremely sharp and can cause severe wounds. Pay extrem carefullness during works
in their proximity.
Warning: Before to start any maintenance activity on the machine, ensure that the electrical supply has been
disconnected.
Warning: Pay extrem carefullness during works in the proximity of the machine.
Warning: After the maintenance operations close the unit with its panel fastening them with the apposite screws.
Warning: When the lateral panels have to been removed, due the installation or maintenance, hold the internal cables
with an appropriate distance due avoiding contacts.
The following Maintenance Schedule must be performed by a specialized technician who operates, preferably,
with a maintenance contract.
Warning: Before carrying out the checks listed below, make sure that the power supply line of the unit is sectioned at
the start. Also make sure that the disconnecting device is padlocked or that a special warning sign is not applied to the
operating handle. Before operating on the electrical connections, make sure there is no voltage using a Voltmeter or a
phase tester. Some components (fans with EC technology, power factor correction capacitors, inverters) can remain
with dangerous voltages for a short period after the power supply is removed. Wait at least 5 minutes to remove the
panels to access the live parts.
Warning: Verify that the safety and control devices are working properly (monthly).
