Clogged or dirty evaporative
panels
Clean or replace panels

Check the water supply flow rate
Check and clean the pipes of the supply

Check that the air outlet openings are
sufficiently wide and that they are kept
open during operation
High ambient humidity or
ambient temperature too
low
A reduced cooling effect under such
conditions (night time, very humid days)
must be considered normal
The unit is very noisy
Fan unbalanced (e.g. due to
dirt accumulation, etc.) or
damaged
Check and clean the fan blades regularly,
replace the fan in case of damage or
breakage
Air ducts or vents with too
small a cross-section,
curves too narrow
Review the sizing of channels and vents
Water leakage from the water
tank
Float valve/water level
incorrectly adjusted
Check and adjust the water level
Excessive water flow
rate/supply pressure
Check and regulate the water supply
Faulty or clogged exhaust
valve
Check exhaust valve, replace if necessary
Entrainment of water droplets
in the air stream
Leaks from pipes or fittings
of the water distribution

Tighten fittings and replace any damaged
parts
Panels not correctly
installed in their seats
Check and reposition correctly
Clogged, damaged or non-
original panels
Replace with original panels
Unusual or unpleasant odours
in the treated air
New evaporative panels
At first start on or immediately after
replacement, this is a normal effect
Formation of mould or algae
in the collection tank
Drain the water, clean the tank regularly
Panels remain wet for a long
time after use
Before switching off the machine, keep
only the fan running for a few minutes to
dry the panels
Very encrusted or dirty
panels
Clean the panels or replace them if
necessary
