1.7 Principle of Operation
PRIMO is an evaporative cooler for large
premises, such as workshops, industrial
departments, commercial and civil buildings,
agricultural and livestock buildings, etc., which
works based on the principle of adiabatic cooling.
Hot air taken in from outside passes through the
high-efficiency evaporative panels and comes
into contact with water flowing vertically through
the panels. The water evaporation of the water
requires heat from the air and naturally lowers its
temperature. The fresh air is then distributed into
the treated space through ducting. The cooling
capacity depends on the temperature, relative
humidity and air distribution in the room.
Besides being used as a cooler, the device can
also be used as a humidifier for large areas, when
cooling is not necessary.
The materials used guarantee reliability and
durability, even in the most critical environmental
conditions.
