7 - PROBLEM-SOLVING GUIDE
THE OPERATIONS DESCRIBED IN THIS CHAPTER MUST ONLY BE CARRIED OUT BY AUTHORISED
AND QUALIFIED PERSONNEL, USING SUITABLE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT. BEFORE
CARRYING OUT ANY WORK, DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY AND CUT OFF THE WATER
SUPPLY.
PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
The machine does not start
No or incorrect supply
voltage
Check electrical connections and mains
The fan does not start, but
water circulates
No or incorrect motor
supply voltage
Check the motor power supply line
Faulty motor
Check and if necessary replace the motor
The fan runs, but the panels
remain dry (or slightly wet)
No or incorrect pump supply
voltage
Check the pump supply line
Water supply circuit
disconnected
Check the water supply pipe
The water distribution circuit
is disconnected or clogged
Check the pipes of the water distribution
circuit
The pump is clogged
Clean the pump and tank regularly
The pump has failed
Check and if necessary replace the pump
The float does not allow the
tank to be filled correctly
Check the function and position of the
float, adjust or replace if necessary
The panels have mineral
incrustations
The collection tank is dirty
Cleaning the tub
The exhaust system does not
function properly
Check the functioning of the exhaust
system and replace it if faulty
Check the time set for unloading
Excessive water hardness
Check water quality, adapt the water
system to the required specifications
Poor cooling action
Undersized cooling system
Review the project, add additional units if
necessary
Sub-optimal air distribution
Review the design and sizing of the
channels
