The Panda Power Tool
Panda is our sensive and extremely versale power tool. The torque sensors in
all seven axes enable Panda to manipulate objects in a skillful and sensive way.
Yet they also enable the user to interact directly and intuively with the Arm. By
means of our in-house developed programing paradigm, this lightweight robot
system, despite its myriad of highly-complex capabilies, is extraordinarily easy
to assemble and use. In combinaon with apps, Panda can be implemented in a
maer of minutes.
Apps are modular roboc programs, which represent respecvely one paral
step of a roboc task and which may be obtained from the Franka Store. These
apps can encompass diering scopes from the highly complex to the very
simple. When selected from Desk, each app can be opened and the user is
prompted with a context menu that requests parameters by means of dia-
logue-based interacon with the user.
