  If your FRIEDLAND Security System siren sounds when the system is disarmed or hasn't been triggered by an intruder, it could be due to several reasons: * A Detector tamper switch may be activated: Check that the battery covers of all detectors and Keypads are securely and fully fitted. * A Personal Attack Alarm may have been operated from a Remote Control or Keypad. * The Jamming detection circuit may be in operation. * A Detector may be giving false alarm signals.

  If the FRIEDLAND Security System PIR Movement Detector is not detecting movement, consider the following: * Ensure the battery clip is securely connected. * Ensure ‘House Code’ is correctly set to the same code as all other system devices. * Pulse count set too high: Reset to one pulse detection. * Ensure DIP switches 1, 2 and 3 of SW2 are correctly set, (i.e. 1=ON, 2=ON, and 3=OFF). * Ensure that detector is mounted the correct way up, (i.e. with detection window at the bottom). * Ensure that the detector is mounted at the correct height, (i.e. 2-2.5m). * Allow up to three minutes for detector to stabilize and become fully operational. Leave the area for this period.
