1.3 Function
The free-standing deep fryers (hereafter called deep fryers) made by frifri Aro SA are available in three basic variants: “Basic”,
and “Business”. Various expansion stages are possible for each of the three basic variants.
The deep fryers essentially consist of a frying vessel in which a submerged heater heats the frying oil and keeps it at the re-
quired frying temperature.
The frying basket with the product being fried is lowered into the hot frying oil manually or by means of the frying basket lift
(option).
According to the basic variant of the deep fryer the size of the frying vessel, the power of the submerged heater and the con-
troller for the frying cycles all vary as well as the further options for the fittings, which make the daily work that much easier.
The following tables show the essential differences between the three basic options.
Basic Business
Controller:
Rotary controller for regulating the
frying oil temperature in steps of 5 °C
in a range from 140 to 190 °C

Digital control of frying oil temperature in steps of 1 °C in a range from
130 to 190 °C
