5.5 Frying oil pump (option)
If the deep fryer is equipped with a frying oil pump for sucking out the frying oil it can be operated by pressing the relevant
membrane switch which is provided as long as a frying cycle is not being carried out.
> “Basic” model
If the rotary knob is not set to zero the frying oil pump cannot be operated.
> “Comfort” and “Business” models
If a programmed frying cycle is in operation the frying oil pump cannot be operated.
5.5.1 Pump out frying oil: “Basic” model
1. Ensure that the rotary knob is set to zero.
2. Allow frying oil to cool only as far as necessary so that it remains liquid (not higher than 175 °C).
3. Open frying oil drain tap and allow frying oil to run from frying vessel into the oil catchment tank.
4. Fit extension hose onto inlet nozzle and connect the end of the extension hose to the deep fryer.
