Actuate the torch trigger
Shielding gas flows
Gradually tilt the welding torch up until
the tungsten electrode touches the
workpiece
Raise the welding torch and rotate it
into its normal position
The arc ignites.
Carry out welding
Electrode over-
load
If the tungsten electrode is overloaded, material can detach from the electrode that then
contaminates the weld pool.
If the tungsten electrode is overloaded, the "Electrode overload" indicator in the status bar
of the control panel lights up.
The "Electrode overload" indicator depends on the electrode diameter and welding current
that have been set.
End of welding Depending on the set mode, finish welding by releasing the torch trigger
Wait for the set gas post-flow and hold welding torch in position over the end of the
weld seam
