Function tests
General In the event a repair is needed, the Service menu is required to:
- Recover the serial number
- Perform function tests
- Acknowledge status code 551 (which is shown after a power module replacement)
If a Z power module is installed, a hard-
ware change is detected and the error
"551 - hardware change detected" is
shown
To acknowledge this error, the serial num-
ber must be entered correctly, and the
function tests must be passed.
Function test in
the service menu
The battery charging system must be operated in short circuit - use the designated
adapter.
- Output current: Measurement using an ammeter
- Output voltage: measurement using a multimeter - the device must be operated in
open circuit.
Open the configuration menu by pressing
the "Pause/Start" key.
Enter the code 7109.
The "Service" menu item then appears.
