the rise in current can be influenced through inductance stages, thereby producing
an optimum welding result.
- Socket 1 ... designed for short-arc used with CO2 and mixed gases (steep
rise in current)
- Socket 2/3 ... for the lower short-arc with mixed gas, otherwise for the inter-
mediate or spray arc (flat rise in current)
