Installing the Optional Wireless Printer Adapter
NOTE:
• You can also install the wireless printer adapter by following the instructions described in Wireless Network Kit b/g/n
Installation Guide provided with the wireless printer adapter.
1 Turn off the printer.
IMPORTANT:
• If the optional hard disk unit is not installed on your printer, note that the data in the memory are cleared when the printer
is turned off.
2 Align the connector and the three protrusions of the wireless printer adapter with the four holes and insert the
adapter.
NOTE:
• Ensure that the adapter is fully inserted and secured.
3 Turn on the printer.
If a message displays telling you to make initial setup on the operator panel, always do as instructed.
4 Print the Printer Settings page to confirm the wireless printer adapter is installed correctly.
a Press the (Menu) button.
b Select Report / List, and then press the button.
c Select Printer Settings, and then press the button.
The Printer Settings page is printed.
