Removing and installing the battery
Only use batteries approved by Fujitsu for your notebook.
Never use force when fitting or removing a battery.
Make sure that no foreign bodies get into the battery connections.
Never s tore a battery for long periods in the discharged state. This
can m ake it impossible to recharge.
Removing a battery

Remove the power plug fr
om the mains socket!
► Switch the device OFF.
The device must not be in pow er-saving mode!
► Close the LCD screen.
► Remove all the cables from the device.
► Turn the device over and place it on a stable, flat and clean surface. If necessary, p lace
an anti-slip cloth on this surface to p revent the device from being scratched.

► Slide battery release 1 in the direction of the arrow (1) and hold it in place.
► Push release mechanism 2 in the direction of the arrow (2).
► Reach into the opening 3, lift the rechargeable battery (3) and remove the
rechargeable battery from the battery compartment (4).
