5.2 Security
The ETERNUS DX Disk storage system provides various enhanced security functions.
5.2.1 Account Management
Proper user account management is very important to configure a system where security is paramount.
The ETERNUS DX Disk storage system allocates roles and access authority when a user account is created, and
sets which functions can be used depending on the user privileges.
Since the authorized functions of the storage administrator are classified according to the usage and only
minimum privileges are given to the administrator, security is improved and operational mistakes and
management hours can be reduced.
