Clean this part with a dry lint-
free cloth.
You have to clean the scanner frequently as following cases :
● Scan a smooth surface document such as a coated paper.
● Scan a printed document almost fill in the paper.
● Scan a processed with chemicals document such as carbonless paper.
● Scan a document having a high calcium content.
● Scan a lot of penciled document.
CAUTION
Do not clean rubber parts with Cleaner F2.
