fi-5900C & fi-5950 CONSUMABLE REPLACEMENT AND CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
• Make sure there is no paper
in the stacker.
• Press the ADF Cover Open
Button.
Note:
The cover opens slowly on it’s
own.
• Open the Roller Cover by
placing your fingers in either
of the openings of the cover
and pulling out.
• Pull out on the tab that locks
the Pick Roller in place in the
direction of the arrow and
slide the Pick Roller off the
shaft.
• Repeat the procedure above
to remove the second Pick
Roller.
REPLACING THE PICK ROLLERS
Worn, defective, or improperly installed Pick Rollers will cause misfeeds
and paper jams. The Pick Rollers have an approximate life of 600,000
pages. If NCR or carbonless paper is used the life span of the Pick
Rollers may be decreased by half.
