Removing a hard disk
► Remove the cover, see "Removing a cover", Page 57.
For easier removal from the device, the hard disk is installed in a hard disk carrier.
The LIFEBOOK E459 is shown below. The procedure is identical for all
variants. Differences are pointed out accordingly.

► Slightly ra
ise the hard disk carrier (1).
► Unscrew the hard disk cable (2) from the hard disk.
► Remove the
hard disk carrier.

► Open the h ard disk carrier (3).
► Pull the hard disk out of the hard disk carrier (4) in the direction of the arrow.
