Removing the hard disk
► Remove the cover, see "Remove the cover", Page 64.
For easier removal from the device, the hard disk is installed in a ha rd disk c arrier.
The LIFEBOOK E558 is illustrated below. The approach is the same for all
variants. Corre sponding reference is made to any differences.

► Raise the ha
rd disk carrier (1) slightly.
► Disconnect the hard disk cable (2) from the h ard disk.
► Remove the
hard disk carrier.

► Open the hard disk carrier (3).
► Pull the hard disk out of the hard disk carrier (4) in the direction of the arrow.
