Hot Keys and function keys
The upper key row on the keyboard is labeled with Hot Key and function key icons:

1 = Upper key row (monolingual keyboard)
2 = Upper key row (bilingual keyboard)
3=HotKey
4 = Function key
Hot Keys
HotKeys
The symbols on the top of the keys represent Hot Keys.
The Hot Keys are used to turn on/off and control notebook functions (such as speakers,
microphone, volume, and brightness). Hot Keys are comfort fun ctions.
The Hot Keys can be activated as the primary key function when Windows
starts (see Chapter "
F-Lock setting", Page 32).

This Hot Key switches the wireless components off or on.

on or off.
