The microphone port/Line In allows you to connect an externa l microphone, a MiniDisc
player, MP3 player, CD player or a tape deck to y our notebook.
► Connect the audio cable to the
external device.

book.

You can connect headphones or external loudspeakers to your notebook via
the headph ones output/SPDIF port.
► Connect the audio cable to the
external device.
► Connect the audio cable to the
headphones/SPDIF port of the notebook.
The internal loudspeakers are disabled.
If you purchase a cable from a retailer, ple ase note the following information:
The headphones port on y our notebook is a "3.5 mm jack socket".
If you wa nt to connect headphones or a s peaker you will need a "3.5 m m jack plug".
