The power cable supplied confo rms to the requirements of the country in which
you purchased your notebook. Make sure that the power cable is approved
for use in the c ountry in which you intend to use it.
The mains adapter’s p ower cable must only be connected to a mains socket
if the notebook is co nnected to the mains adapter.
Do not use the ma ins adapter for other notebooks or devices.
Do not use a mains adapter t hat is not specially intended for this notebook.
Make sure that the rated current of the mains adapter is not higher than that of the
mains supply to which you conne ct it (see "Technical Data" in the E asyG uide).

► Connect the mains adapter cable (1) to the
DC jack (DC IN) on the notebook.
► Connect the power cable (2) into
the mains adapter.
► Plug the pow er cable (3) into a ma ins outlet.
The battery will charge.
