Switching the notebook on for the first time

When you sw itch your notebook on for the first time, the supplied software is
installed and configured. Due t o the fact that this installation procedure must not
be interrupted, you should set a side enough time for it to be fully completed and
connect the notebook to the mains outlet using the mains adapter.
During installation, the notebook must only be reboo ted when you are requested to do so!

o the section entitled "Switching on the
notebook" in the EasyGuide).
The installation process will start automatically.
► During installation, follow th
e on-screen instructions.
Consult the operating system manual if anything is unclear about the requested input data.
The "Drivers & Utilities" CD/DVD or the Internet at: "http://ts.fujitsu.com/supp ort",
provides further information on th e system, drivers, utilities, updates, m a nuals etc.
